Seabrook Island Wedding Venue
Wedding season is most formally recognized as late spring and into early fall, given the desirable climate that these months offer. Couples often choose to celebrate their special day taking full advantage of the wonderful ambiance, ensuring that they are creating a memorable experience for themselves and their guests. Offering beach-front views, sunshine and an ocean breeze, the Seabrook Island wedding venue is hard to overlook.
However, the climate of the chosen location isn’t the only critical factor in the lasting impression of the couple’s day to say “I do.” You might have heard the saying, “the devil is in the details,” and that saying rang true in this couple’s Charleston, South Carolina beach wedding.
Seaside Wedding Color Scheme
This couple chose a gorgeous color palette of muted sage and navy blue, complemented by creamy white accents and subdued natural greenery. “The bride really captured the whole beach wedding vibe from her tossed waves hairstyle to the navy blue suits for the guys,” said Michelle Duplessis, Seabrook Island Club Event and Wedding Sales Manager.
Say Yes to the Dress
Perhaps the most eye-catching element, beyond the Seabrook Island wedding venue’s scenery and carefully chosen color palette, was the bride’s breathtaking dress. The elegantly classic dress by Justin Alexander featured a plunging back, with exquisite lace detailing and a long train.
Details Make Perfection
Complementing the stunning details that this dress offered were feather heels by Badgley Mischka, beachy curls, and simple, elegant makeup crafted by Bella Donna Bridal.
The bride also carried a bouquet of fresh flowers including ivory garden roses, white spray roses, white ranunculus, white scabiosa, white anemones, and accented natural greenery — silver dollar eucalyptus, and baby eucalyptus. The arrangement complemented the ceremony’s chosen color palette, carefully tying in all of the important details. Each bridesmaid held a similar bouquet.
Following the Ceremony
Following the ceremony, the Charleston, South Carolina beach wedding venue hosted a fun-filled reception in the Atlantic Ballroom, where the bride and groom joined guests in dancing the night away.
Hugs, laughter, and tears were all shared among the attendees as they celebrated the couple’s lifelong commitment to each other.
“It’s so wonderful when you are able to work with a couple on the most important day of their lives,” said Duplessis. “I highly recommend brides who are not familiar with our venues check out our Instagram page for inspiration; it’s a great tool for newly engaged couples in the planning stages.” These special moments were captured by Carolina Palms Photography.
