Where are the Ceremony and Reception?
Seabrook Island Weddings has four Charleston wedding venues and reception locations for you to choose from, both indoor and outdoor.
- Atlantic Ballroom: Ocean views with a spacious wrap-around veranda.
- Carolina Room: Accommodates up to 50 guests and converts to an indoor/outdoor space.
- Deveaux Room: Accommodates up to 50 guests with amazing views from a private balcony.
- Ocean Terrace: An oceanfront Charleston wedding venue perfect for a sunset ceremony.
You can opt to host your reception in the Atlantic Ballroom after exchanging your vows on the Ocean Terrace, or any combination of these dreamy venues. When Is the Best Time to Have a Charleston Wedding?
On average, Seabrook Island enjoys over eleven hours of the Lowcountry sunshine each day, with temperatures typically falling between 72 and 79 degrees. That means you can host your Charleston wedding at any time throughout the year, including the off-season, and it will still feel wonderful outside! While our Charleston wedding venues are most popular during the late spring, summer, and early fall months, we continue to hold outdoor weddings all year long.
How Many Wedding Guests Can Seabrook Island Accommodate?
Our Seabrook Island wedding venues accommodate a variety of party sizes. The Carolina Room and Deveaux Room may accommodate up to 50 people for a private, indoor ceremony or plated-meal reception. These spaces can host more guests if you choose to do a cocktail hour or buffet-style meal during the reception. Our larger spaces, the Ocean terrace and Atlantic Ballroom, can accommodate up to 200 for the ceremony and 225 for plated meals. Does Seabrook Island Weddings Offer Reception Packages?
Seabrook Island Weddings provides an amazing reception package to streamline your wedding planning. Our Charleston wedding planners provide an exclusive experience with many opportunities for customization. You will have our team on call to ensure everything is in place, and partake in food tasting to make sure you and your guests will enjoy the event. We provide you with a four-hour reception and four-hour open bar, a plated dinner which includes a salad, and our team will pass around desserts and hors d’oeuvres.
A champagne toast is included, as is a bride’s room for the day of the wedding and golf carts to help transport you around the property. We can accommodate any food adjustments your guests may need, including kids’ meals and vegetarian or vegan options. We do not require a food and beverage minimum or a reception venue fee.
