The world waits with bated breath for Pantone to announce their favorite color trends of the year. For Spring 2015, an ethereal palette with not one, not two, but three shades of dreamy blue also had everything from peachy pinks to a deep red, which would ultimately become the 2015 color of the year. One of our personal favorites was “Beveled Glass,” aka lucite, a chic shade of blue (or is it green?!) that we think is absolutely perfect for seaside weddings. The green wedding shade evokes thoughts of worn beach glass, transparent waters, and sandy succulents, making it the ideal inspiration for a seaside soiree. The touch of blue/green wedding shade in lucite makes it a trendy and much needed departure from mint, a shade we love but feel has had its moment in the sun.

Everybody looks great in this color, making it an all-inclusive choice for bridesmaids dresses, and the options for pairing are limitless. We suggest drawing in a few other Pantone favorites, like Classic Blue for a more monochrome palette, or pops of Strawberry Ice or peach for the perfect springy contrast. Since most weddings plan a year out, we look forward to seeing lots of this color at our upcoming Spring 2016 events! What is your favorite Pantone color from the 2015 report?
